Hello all,
As always, thank you all for another very successful year.
In August, we celebrated our 20th anniversary! It’s so hard to believe that 20 years ago, I walked into a four-walled room with two other people to start what would grow into a team of 75+ teammates across multiple states. Certainly, many things have changed over the course of those 20 years, including vision, software path, and company objectives. However, the one thing that has not changed is the mandate the three of us set for ourselves on Day One, “take care of our customers, the rest will follow.”
I’m proud of many of the things our team has accomplished this year in support of that. We’ve enhanced our core offerings with the addition of features and solutions like Membership Metrics, Event Agreements, new hardware solutions, and new reporting capabilities, among others. And we work to help you improve your guest experience every day. You’ll see more of that in 2025, so be on the lookout.
We have been so honored to have this opportunity to be a part of the industry that helps families and communities everywhere. This year, we were also proud to partner in the growth journey alongside many of our existing users. From Five Star to Andretti’s to Launch Entertainment and others, these large brands continue to drive and change our industry. Our independent operators have also seen tremendous growth this past year. New locations for Fritz’s Adventures and The Fun Station, and more further demonstrate how important your place in your community is. We’re honored to be a part of it.
Our commitment to supporting our clients in these efforts stays strong, and I’d like to take this opportunity to call out some of the people responsible this last year for making 2024 one of CenterEdge’s best.
First, Kate Jackson, our Client Success Manager, has done an amazing job becoming the voice of our clients. She, along with many other teammates, have heard from many of you and have focused their efforts on ensuring your success, whether it is with software development, training, or simply support.
And, as we continue to strive to improve our customers’ experience, Dwyon Terry and the entire training staff are hard at work developing a new training plan for our internal use, which has and will continue to result in a completely revised onboarding process of our staff and customers.
While I’m at it, let me recognize Brant Burnett, Aaron Horner, and Matthew Masenthin, who are leading our three development teams. 2025 will be very exciting as we aim to grow our development staff to focus on customer-centric initiatives to carry us for the next 20 years.
I would be remiss not to mention the CenterEdge Payments Team, led by Leslie Legel, Sara Coello, Joe Siler, and Bryce Henderson, who truly live our initial mandate day to day. They have simplified the very difficult credit card world so that our customers can feel confident they understand while also minimizing their expenses.
And, strengthening our communication with you continues to be a high priority for us. Sherry Howell and our marketing team, led by Marcey Seebaran, continuously amaze me through their creativity. This group never stops thinking (or working), and their efforts have certainly made a difference this year.
As you can tell, I am extremely proud of my team, our success, and our 20-year run. But I’m even more proud that we have done it as a family-owned, employee-centric, customer-first company; rather than a company with investors simply focused on a profit/loss statement.
Thank you all again. Happy Holidays!
Marcus
