The Director of Operations (DOO) is a senior level management position that reports directly to the company CEO.

The DOO organizes and oversees the daily operations of the company’s Support, Installation, and Training departments. The DOO ensures the highest level of standards and services are being adhered to and that the day to day business is well planned and operating smoothly. The position calls for a very process-oriented individual capable of coordinating the activities of numerous departments and team members. The desired candidate is a solid communicator and exceptional leader who thrives on cultivating the most efficient ways to operate a business.


  • Oversee the company’s core operating divisions which include Support, Installations and Training
  • Establish and maintain proper staffing levels to meet the needs of the business in conjunction with the respective department managers
  • Consistently evaluate the efficiency of company procedures and processes as they relate to company objectives and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Supervise team members across all operating divisions and provide feedback to promote resource development and improve company standards
  • Direct and develop systems and processes to monitor company KPIs in the areas of installation satisfaction, support response, training effectiveness, and issue resolution
  • Conduct field visits to ensure company standard and practices are upheld during product deployment
  • Establish and oversee procurement and shipping policies and standards
  • Manage agreements with company vendors as needed
  • Work in conjunction with company HR on team member evaluations and career path development
  • Maintain visible role in industry verticals and actively develop relationships with clients and vendor partners
  • Provide feedback on customer requirements and suggested improvements to company products and services
  • Maintain a general working knowledge of all company products and services
  • Evaluate operating expenses and related budgets to promote company profitability
  • Provide leadership, vision and management across the company


  • At least 3 years of proven experience in Director of Operations or similar role
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Sound working knowledge of functional business principles including client services, finance, supply chain, and HR
  • Proficient with MS Office and business enterprise software
  • Ability to undertake some travel in the US and abroad
  • Position based in Roxboro, NC
